Start the day with a delicious breakfast buffet in the Biosphere Potsdam. We offer a breakfast with a wide selection of the finest and homemade treats to suit all tastes.
From 10:15 am. to 12:00 am. you can enjoy delicacies in the middle of the tropical rainforest. The varied selection of dishes of the breakfast buffet is characterized by a high quality - regionality and seasonality a high priority. The ambience of the Biosphere Potsdam promises a summery atmosphere all year round for your successful start to the morning.
Would you like to have breakfast during the week? Then our breakfast under palm trees is just the thing!
Important note:
A booking of the breakfast buffet is only possible until the day before at 2 pm. The availability of the respective dates can be viewed in our ticket booking system.
In addition, it is possible to buy a voucher for breakfast for yourself or as a gift and redeem it at a later date.
Prices for the breakfast buffet
The breakfast buffet costs € 25.00 per person for adults aged 14 and over.
Children aged 6 to 13 years pay € 15.00 per person, including biosphere admission.
Children between 3 and 5 years pay only € 4.50 biosphere admission.
The price includes all dishes of the buffet, a glass of Prosecco, filter coffee and tea unlimited as well as the day admission to the tropical garden of the Biosphere Potsdam.

The breakfast buffet at Restaurant Urwaldblick in Potsdam includes a varied and healthy menu:
The buffet is characterized by hearty dishes such as ham, sausages, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs and selected cheeses. For a healthy start in the morning, breakfast includes cereals, milk and yogurt. Enjoy selected homemade jams, aromatic spreads or seasonal salad. In addition different bread rolls and breads are served. All products come from regional suppliers in Potsdam and the surrounding area.
Each breakfast buffet visitor receives a glass of freshly squeezed juice and a glass of Prosecco. Filter coffee and tea are available unlimited.
Tropical expedition after the breakfast buffet
After enjoying the rich breakfast buffet you can take a walk through the tropical garden of the Biosphäre Potsdam.
Along the dense jungle trails you will discover tropical plants and exotic animals. The summer temperatures and the hourly thunderstorm with lightning, thunder and rain over the jungle pond takes you in the distant world of tropical rainforests. The entry to the tropical garden is optional. You can also book the breakfast buffet without s visit of the tropical garden.
