Orchid bloom 2026 at Biosphäre Potsdam

From February 19 to March 29, 2026, the Biosphäre Potsdam will be transformed into a magical floral display. Orchids in every shade, from delicate to vibrant, will unfold their full diversity: familiar classics and rare exotics, elegant yet playful.
The exhibition showcases not only the beauty but also the fascinating survival strategies of these plants: ingenious deceptions, clever adaptations, and mysterious symbioses. The special exhibition is complemented by a photo report by Marco Klüber on wild orchids. On select days, the Orchid Café will also be open, offering tips on orchid care. Those who wish to bring a touch of the tropics home will find an exclusive selection in the Biosphere shop. An experience for all who love nature and want to be enchanted by the diversity of orchids.

Valuable tips on the care and cultivation of orchids will be available again at our Orchid Café in the Biosphäre Potsdam. Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea while chatting with our gardeners and other enthusiasts of these delicate plants.

The price is €10 plus admission to the Biosphäre Potsdam, including coffee or tea.
