Public transport from Potsdam Central Station

Tram lines 96 and 92

Take line 96 (towards Campus Jungfernsee) to the Volkspark stop, directly in front of the Potsdam Biosphere.

Alternatively, take line 92 (towards Bornstedt / Kirschallee) to the Campus Fachhochschule stop. The Potsdam Biosphere is only a 300-meter walk away.

Arriving by Bicycle

Free bicycle parking is located directly at the main entrance to the Potsdam Biosphere.

 

Arriving by Car

The traffic guidance system directs car drivers in Potsdam directly to the Potsdam Biosphere. Please simply follow the city center signs.

 

On-site Parking

160 parking spaces for cars (including disabled parking spaces) and bus parking spaces are located directly next to the Potsdam Biosphere.

The paid parking lot is managed by Fair Parken GmbH.

The rates are as follows:

The first 2 hours cost a total of €3.

Each additional hour costs €1.50.

The daily rate is €8.00.

Visitors to the Potsdam Biosphere receive a €1 discount on parking fees at the ticket office. A camera scans the license plate number upon entry. Payment is only made at the ticket machine before exiting the park, by entering the license plate number. Fees can also be paid by mobile phone. Parking fees can also be paid online up to 48 hours after exiting at www.fairparken.com/pay.

The license plate number will be scanned again for verification upon exit. This concludes the parking session.
