Experience the feeding of the exotic animals at Biosphäre Potsdam.
The Biosphäre Potsdam is home to a large number of exotic animals. Countless exotic animals in more than 140 species live in terrariums, aquariums, aviaries and freely in the hall. At the public feeding with the animal keepers, you’ll get to know some of these creatures a little better and learn a lot about their behaviour.
Every Tuesday at 12 noon
Monkeys are on the loose! Every Tuesday at 12 noon you can watch the animal keepers feed our cute marmosets. The active acrobats are the stars of the jungle and a very special highlight due to their bright nature. In public feeding you will not only learn what our monkeys like to eat for lunch, but also lots of exciting information about the behaviour of the primates.
The monkey feeding takes place directly at the monkey compound and is already included in the Biosphäre entrance fee.
Every Thursday at 12 noon
The public bird feeding, which takes place every Thursday at 12 noon, is particularly suitable for all passionate birdwatchers. The animal keepers tell a lot about the sun parakeets and red-shouldered macaw in the aviary. But the birds which are living freely in the hall also gather very close to our animal keepers for feeding. Take the chance and watch the superb starlings, red-crowned parakeets and cockatiels as well as the golden pheasant from close up and learn interesting facts about the colourful flight experts.
Bird feeding takes place at the aviaries and is already included in the Biosphäre entrance fee.
