Painting exhibition "Mein Potsdam" by Andrea Jennert

June 22 - July 29, 2022

In addition to our tropical adventure world, the city of Potsdam has many other sights to offer. From June 22nd it will now be possible to see the castles, churches and other characteristic places of our beautiful city in a single trip to the Biosphere Potsdam. 15 paintings by artist Andrea Jennert depict all of our favorite spots in the city, from Sanssouci Palace and the New Palace to the Dutch Quarter, Nauener Tor and Glienicke Bridge. You can even admire two pictures of our tropical hall in the green corridor.

Andrea Jennert is an artist from Potsdam and has been watching the streets and sights from the buggy. Even later, however, she was not drawn out of the city. She lives in the state capital as a piano teacher and author and found her way to painting later. After the musical sound and the sound of words, she is now also conquering form and color sounds on canvas. First with oil and brush, later mainly with acrylic and spatula. The series of Potsdam motifs was created at the suggestion of husband Raimund Jennert and can now be seen publicly for the first time in the Biosphere Potsdam.
